This was a pretty annoying trophy to earn, the boat section is towards the end of the mission, so if you mess up you’ll need to re-do the whole thing to get another crack at it. Release the Kraken! - Killed 20 enemies during the boat exfil in Rip Current I did this naturally during my first play through, so it really is pretty simple, if you mess up, you can restart the check point or just make a note to do it on your next play through. I’m not sure if they follow the same patrol path every time but eventually they will be right next to each other, just be patient and wait for the right shot. All you need to do is wait until they stand side by side, then make sure their heads are aligned and squeeze the trigger. You’ll unlock these as you progress through the campaign, playing difficulty does not matter.ĭouble Header - Killed two enemies with one bullet in the Changing Tides missionĪt one point in the mission, you’ll come across two soldiers standing outside a building/hut thing, you’ll then be instructed by your ally to take them out. Stump's No Chump - Finished all the Stump Missions Preacher's Path - Finished all the Preacher Missions One Man Mutiny - Completed Bump in the Night Pedal to the Medal - Completed Hello and Dubai

Non-Official Cover - Completed Finding FarazĬlass Dismissed - Completed Connect the Dots Know the Enemy - Completed Through the Eyes of Evil One Shot, Three Kills - Completed Hat Trick Unexpected Cargo - Completed Unintended Consequences Rain of Terror - Completed Changing Tides Basically, once you’ve beaten the game on Hardcore mode, just select the last mission and play it on Tier 1, once completed, the trophy should pop. Having said this, there is a useful glitch(?) that allows you earn this trophy, having played only one mission. Similar to the Tier 1 mode of the previous Medal of Honor, except this time around you aren’t timed, so you can progress as slowly as you like. Tier 1 - Completed the campaign on Tier 1 difficulty I recommend playing on Hard for your first play through, you’ll need to beat it to unlock Tier 1 and Hardcore mode anyway, so might as well save yourself a bit of time. You’ll get this as the credits start rolling, doesn’t matter what difficulty you played to beat the game. Anyway as SP trophies go, the ones in MoH:W are pretty hard, so if you're going for the platinum, you should be prepared for some considerable effort and numerous re-tries. I think I prefere the SP in MoH than MoH:W but that isn't to say it was bad, it just wasn't as refreshing as the first, the multiplayer however I think is improved in MoH:W but I'll speak a bit more about that in the multiplayer trophies article. I did play the previous MoH title and it was fairly enjoyable, so I decided to give the sequel a whirl. But here we are, nearly a year after first loading up the disk, I'm now writing my second Journey To Platinum article on it! :O I'm not really sure why I decided to go back to the game, lord knows I've got enough un-played (and many un-opened) titles in my game library to get stuck into, I guess it's just in my nature to see things through to the end. Medal of Honor Warfighter isn’t scheduled to be released 23 October but you can pre-order it now on the game site.If someone had said to me I'd eventually go on to plat Medal of Honor: Warfighter when I initially started playing the game, I'd have laughed in their face. Asking for and seeking out the input and advice of combat veterans on a game that takes place on the modern battlefields that quite likely many of the game’s players fought on tells me that the developers actually care about the large community of game playing veterans. This striving for authenticity is a good thing in my eyes and it lends legitimacy to the game that others in the genre sorely lack.

When the developers want to know how to do a tactical reload, breach a door, or conduct a smooth weapons transition they ask Tyler and his team to demonstrate so that the designers can replicate it in the game.

Tyler, along with a small team of veterans, is working behind the scenes with the developers to make this outing in the Medal of Honor series as authentic as possible for a game. The studio won’t even release his last name in fear of compromising his identity. Veterans like Tyler, a former SF Soldier with multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan who retired after being wounded in 2007. Danger Close, the studio behind the yet-to-be-released Medal of Honor Warfighter, is not out to replicate the reality of combat for a Special Forces Operator but they are giving it a hell of a shot by teaming up with Special Operations veterans that have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan.
